The HogScrap Vision!

By now, you have all seen the beginning of the HogScrap Brand. I receive a lot of inquiries concerning the question of "What is HogScrap?" and tonight I'm going to share with you, our vision.
HogScrap is a Lifestyle, a mindset, and a fellowship of bikers and backstreet builders thinking outside of the realm of today's Mega-Buck custom motorcycles. A total society of Real Bikes For Real People. If your looking for OCC or West Cost Chopper style $60-$100K bikes, look somewhere else. If your looking for stock Harley-Davidsons covered with chrome bolt-ons and called customs, you're in the wrong place.
HogScrap is a destination. A destination for real, hand-built iron built by real people with real resources. A destination of fellowship for real bikers to meet, share building ideas, hang out, and enjoy what they do best. Build Bikes and Ride!

Our Brand:  As of the writing of this post, we are waist deep into our branding program. Logos have been produced. T-shirt designs are well under way. Our permanent web site is being built and our name continues to show up on various site and social media venues.
Our branding marks the birth of the HogScrap name. Where we began, and where we are headed.

Our Facility Vision: Even though we are starting slowly, with small step in the right direction, our vision is huge and precise. The ultimate goal of the HogScrap team, is to have our "Bricks & Mortar" facility open to the public by the Spring of 2015. A goal that we are well on our way to achieving.
The facility will be like no other in the industry. It will contain a full retail shop housing our branded apparel, leather, helmet and product lines.
The Parts Swap will warehouse used, and salvaged motorcycle and chopper parts. A huge warehouse full of usable inexpensive parts, motors, frames, tins and salvaged bike for the backstreet builder. Customers will be able to buy, sell, and trade parts at the HogScrap Parts Swap. They will be able to walk through out endless source of parts, put their hands on the products, pull needed parts from our stock of salvaged bikes, and use our technicians for advise.
The Shop: Yes we will have a shop, but not your regular bike shop to service and repair your bikes. The HogScrap technicians will be dismantling our salvage bike stock for parts, designing and building bike for sale in our showroom and be there to answer all of our customer's questions concerning technical issue and design questions about their builds. Everyone on the HogScrap Staff will be happy to help you with anything you need to be successful in building your bike.
We plan on having tattoo artists and airbrush artists studios in our facility! No, not a tattoo shop, or airbrushed T-shirt stand, but a full artists facility where artists can gather, share ideas, sell their work, and socialize with other bikers and artists. A full working studio where they can create, use our equipment, and perfect their talents.
HogScrap will also have access to local powder coating services, machine shops, and paint shops that will work with us to service our customers. HogScrap is all about full service. We want all of our customers to be satisfied.
The Showroom will house bikes for sale that have been built, in house, by out technicians. On-off affordable custom, backstreet rides ready for our customers to enjoy. Every HogScrap Bike will be Badass sick! I Guarantee It!
The Hang Out!: Ultimately, we want HogScrap to be your hangout! A place where like minded bikers, builders and artists can come to share ideas, practice their trade, unwind and enjoy fellowship.

Location: The HogScrap facility will be located on the I75/I40 corridor in the Knoxville, TN area. Conveniently located within driving distance of Lexington, KY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, Ga, Nashville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, and other major metropolitan areas. You will pass right by our store on your way to Daytona Bike Week, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, The Cherokee Survivors Rally, and The Smoke Out.

    This is the HogScrap Vision!

Where We Are Now! : So, that's where we're headed, but, where are we now? We are truly in our infancy. Branding is well under way. We have commissioned the efforts of a great graphic artist in Edgar Alvarez to begin the themed T-shirt campaign, The talents of Conrad Burry for our logo designs, and Local Entrepreneur Keith Rutherford in developing the digital art  and vendor relations for our retail apparel line.
We have our first photo shoot scheduled for the end of March to begin our advertising campaign as well as marking the first shoot for the 2012 calendar campaign.
This week, I will personally be working on the designs of the Dickies garage shirts, and airbrushed helmet designs for the online store. Edgar will be finishing up the first sketches for the themed T-shirt line and Keith will continue to develop the embroidery package for the leather vest line and apparel stitching.
We will have our permanent web site set up by the end of March as well.  The new site at hogscrap.com will house our online store, our new forum pages, our corporate progress page, our photo shoot pages, as well as maintain the link to our current Blog page. Several other services and advertising opportunities will be available as well.

What You Can Do To Help Us Succeed!:  It's all about you, The Customer. Without your support and input, there is no HogScrap! Feel free to contact us and let us know what you want. Visit our site, buy our products, follow us on our social media venues and make this your vision as well. We can't do it without your help.
